Our History
Renville County Community Residences (RCCR) was founded on July 21, 1975, by local citizens who believed individuals with developmental disabilities should have the opportunity to live and thrive within their home community, close to family and support networks.
Following five years of planning and community dedication, RCCR opened its first residence, the Grove Avenue Intermediate Care Facility (ICF), in July 1980.
Since then, RCCR has grown to provide services throughout Renville County and surrounding communities, including Bird Island, Olivia, and Hector.
What We Do
Today, RCCR offers a variety of person-centered services that promote independence, choice, and community inclusion, including:
- Intermediate Care Facility (ICF) Services
- Semi-Independent Living Services (SILS)
- Supervised Living Services (SLS)
- In-Home Support Services
RCCR is licensed to support adults with developmental disabilities and mental health needs. Our dedicated team partners with individuals to help them achieve personal goals, build meaningful relationships, and live as independently as possible.
